FAQs

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our services.

We handle all the responsibilities and the import process for the car you are interested in from all over Europe. We guide you through the right choice of car and arrange everything you need so that you can pick up your new car at your location without any hassle.

The difference with us is that we do not sell cars (resale - trade). We give you the opportunity to choose any car you are interested in from the largest market in Europe www.mobile.de and www.autoskout24.com. Essentially your benefit is that there is no middleman involved, so this way you can save more money and the car will be in a really much better condition, compared to one just like it from the Greek market.

As a Greek citizen, unfortunately you cannot receive funding through other European countries. However, you can apply to a Greek bank for the amount of loan you need.

Payment is made directly to the European dealership's account after the purchase invoice with the buyer's details has been issued by a bank. We take care of that as well.

Yes, we take care of the Declaration of Vehicle's Arrival (D.V.A.), the issuing of a new Greek MOT and all the processing of the documents so that it is ready for circulation as required by Greek legislation. You do absolutely nothing.

Yes, of course we take care of the transport of the vehicle you want to buy and we deliver it to the place you indicate to us throughout Greece. We provide insurance coverage during the transport in case of an accident. For vehicles of a certain value and above, we provide extra insurance coverage depending on the value through a special transport insurance policy.

We always examine each car individually. Usually vehicles that have a European directive (euro 6 from 2016 onwards) have lower customs costs. The key question is whether the specific vehicle you are interested in buying exists in Greece. For example if the vehicle has a European directive (euro 4) you pay 3.000€ + customs costs. If the vehicle has a European directive (euro 5) you pay 1.000€ environmental fee + customs costs, while if it has a European directive (euro 6) the environmental fee is 0€.

Once you have indicated the model and type of car you are interested in, we will inform you in detail about all the costs of the vehicle in question so that it can be legally registered in Greece. We suggest you visit various websites in the domestic market and compare prices.

All cars are checked before purchase by a specialized German car inspection company with TUVRheinland-FCP certification, in accordance with German road traffic licensing regulations, which you receive by email.

With us you avoid unnecessary journeys in a country that has huge distances. We contact the professional who sells the vehicle you are interested in and arrange the whole process, from negotiating the price to the bureaucratic aspects, we handle the customs clearance and the issuing of Greek plates.

Of course, we can arrange the whole process for you to come and check and collect your new car in person before you pay for it. A partner from our offices in Germany can pick you up from the airport or the area where the vehicle will be and accompany you - help you through the whole process. Our partners speak Greek, German and English, so they can also serve as your translator. We give you the option after you buy your new vehicle to fly back to Greece and we can arrange for its transport to your location or we can make the necessary arrangements for you to drive your car to your place of residence, (it really is a great experience!). We inform you in detail about the route options you have to get back to Greece, what you have to pay in each country you enter and we are at your disposal for any questions or information during the whole journey.

With us you have the choice to act as you feel comfortable. We can handle the whole process since we have a customs clearance department. If you wish, you can choose the professional who will take care of the whole process of customs clearance and issuing Greek plates. Finally, we can guide you step by step on what exactly you need to do so that your new car can be legally circulated in Greece.

If the car you are interested in buying is under factory warranty, it is normally covered for any country within the European Union. So if a mechanical breakdown occurs you can contact the official dealership that owns the car and have it repaired at no charge whatsoever under the terms and conditions of the warranty policy.

If you choose to have the vehicle transported by car wagon, the car will be at the place you indicate in Greece in about 10 working days. If you are able to travel to Germany and pick up the car in person, depending on the point of sale in Germany where the car will be located, you will be in Greece usually within 2 to 4 days. Regarding the processing of the vehicle's paperwork, usually the process is over in 5 working days.

Every day we receive a fairly high volume of potential buyers.
If the car they want exists in Greece and meets our requirements, we will gladly recommend your car, always after a technical inspection. We can estimate the value of your vehicle, based on the condition it is in so that you do not lose money.

In such cases we examine many parameters together. Every new driver has strengths and weaknesses until they become familiar and gain experience. For example, if one has difficulty in parking or immediate familiarity with the clutch, we recommend cars with the proper equipment to make the use of the vehicle easy and enjoyable.
